Case Studies: Strategy In Action

At Go Savvy, we focus on creating immersive experiences and strategic campaigns that drive meaningful growth. These case studies showcase how thoughtful planning, promotion, and experiential design come together to deliver measurable results.

Each story highlights a different way we help clients connect with their audiences—whether through events, marketing initiatives, or long-term engagement strategies.

Our first feature explores how Go Savvy partnered with a faith-based nonprofit organization to elevate their annual fundraising gala, strengthening donor relationships and extending impact well beyond the event itself.

Case Study

New Heart of Texas fundraiser gala is Go Savvy's first Case Study topic and focuses on scalability through fundraisers.

Location: Greater Houston

Timeline: Spring 2024 & Spring 2025

Guest Count: 250–300

Overview:

New Heart of Texas Ministries engaged Go Savvy to elevate the impact of their annual fundraising gala over two consecutive years. The primary goals were to enhance the guest experience, attract new donors, and ultimately increase the event’s return on investment.

In 2024, Go Savvy introduced an increased level of engagement for the program design, including experiential touchpoints that improved flow and energy throughout the evening. In 2025, the focus shifted toward ambiance transformation, stronger promotional efforts, and the introduction of a 30-day post-event campaign to extend donor engagement.

Scope of Work:

  • Full-service event planning and facilitation

  • Event promotion strategy and content rollout

  • Experiential marketing enhancements

  • 30-day post-event follow-through campaign (2025)

Impact:

2024:

  • 42% increase in attendee satisfaction

  • 10% increase in new guest attendance

  • Positive feedback on experiential upgrades and overall ambiance

2025:

  • 20% increase in new donor attendance

  • 400% growth in Instagram followers, 35% on Facebook

  • 7% increase in email subscribers and ~10% lift in email engagement

  • Significant rise in volunteer interest and donor follow-up activity

Go Savvy compiled and delivered a performance recap to the organization’s board of directors, highlighting multi-channel growth and deeper audience connection across both years. This led the client to hire year-round marketing support and to explore part time aid in Donor CRM management. The client cited Go Savvy’s leadership in strategy, creativity, and post-event impact as a key driver in elevating their development efforts.
